Logic Design — Number Systems

Enter a number in the selected base — every conversion is shown step by step.
Binary (Base 2): uses only the digits 0 and 1. Each position represents a power of 2 — it's the native language of digital electronics and logic gates.

Convert a Binary Number

Decimal (Base 10): the number system used in everyday life, built from the ten digits 0–9. Each position represents a power of 10.

Convert a Decimal Number

Octal (Base 8): uses digits 0 to 7. Each position represents a power of 8 — historically used as a compact way to group 3 binary bits.

Convert an Octal Number

Hexadecimal (Base 16): uses sixteen symbols, 0–9 and A–F. Each position represents a power of 16 — commonly used for memory addresses and color codes (4 bits per digit).

About SolverX

The story, the goals, and the technology behind this project.

AMZ Mathematics is an interactive learning platform built by AMZ GROUP, a student tech team from the IT Department at Lebanese French University. It turns nine major math topics — and now digital number systems — into solvers that show every step of the working, not just the final answer.

The project started as a small classroom tool and grew into a full platform: a dark, glassmorphism-inspired interface, instant calculations, and clear explanations designed to help students actually understand the "how," not just copy the "what."

Objectives

🎯
Clarity

Turn abstract formulas into step-by-step walkthroughs anyone can follow.

Speed

Instant, accurate results across math topics and number system conversions.

📱
Access

A responsive, installable PWA that works smoothly on any device, anywhere.

Technologies Used

Vision

AMZ GROUP wants AMZ Mathematics to grow into a complete reference for students — covering more branches of mathematics and logic design, while staying fast, free, and refreshingly simple to use.
